Polly Proper Lean is a personification of occurrences, inconsequential events that disrupt one’s everyday life. That time you stepped in dog s*** on your way to school, when your card declined for $9 worth of groceries.

These ‘happenings’ do not necessarily equate to an unhappy ending. These events, although minor, can be interpreted as agents of change. Polly Proper Lean presents these disruptions as their own entity and proposes a space where the vexatious can be constructive, perhaps even beautiful.
