Disappearing Blue S/S 21

This collection is inspired by the Japanese traditional dyeing technique, Shibori. During my research, I discovered that Shibori actually originated from within my own Chinese culture.

However, over time, the use of Shibori has died away in China, and this is the reason I have called my collection Disappearing Blue. I have combined natural indigo dyeing and Shibori into my concept. My design involves a hybrid of culture, merging modern and historic elements.
