Rosie was previously Head of Strategic Partnerships at Universities UK International, which represents UK universities around the world and enables them to flourish internationally. She was responsible for business development and foresight activities related to international research funding, engagement with major government funders and funding bodies, as well as overseeing over $20m of international partnership related grants and contracts.

Rosie has over 10 years’ experience of working in higher education and the charity sector in New Zealand and abroad, working in leadership, student recruitment and engagement roles at the University of Auckland (NZ) and the University of British Columbia (Canada). She is a Trustee for Citizen’s Advice (UK); a member of the Alumni Council for Clare College, Cambridge University; and a member of the Student Loans Company (UK) customer success panel. Her work on the UK-Ukraine Twinning Initiative won the PIEoneer Marketing Campaign of the Year (2023) and Progressive Education Delivery Award (2024), and was a finalist for PIEoneer of the Year (2024).
Rosie is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where she studied History, and holds master’s degrees in History and Sociology from the University of British Columbia and the University of Auckland, where she was the Rotary International Global Scholar in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution. She is passionate about the power of higher education to create positive change in the lives of individuals, society, and internationally.
