Additional Information

Kathrin engaged in various studies before finding her way into CAT; she completed her Diplompädagogik and applied drama studies in Germany before gaining a Bachelor of Counselling in Aotearoa, New Zealand, at the end of 2013. She then worked in the not-for-profit space with people of all ages who had an abuse history or had experienced other traumatic events. Here, Kathrin saw the need to create spaces for the non-verbal expression of her clients’ experiences, which led her to subsequently embark on her Creative Arts Therapy studies in 2015, completing a Master of Arts in Arts Therapy (Clinical) at the end of 2017.

Kathrin further works part-time at Hospice West Auckland as a Creative Arts Therapist.
