Dr Joseph Dang

Joseph Dang is an experienced lecturer in the field of Information Technology. With a diverse background in teaching and research, he has joined various universities.

Joseph began his teaching career at HCMC University of Technology and Education and later served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Information Technology, Industrial University of HCMC in Vietnam. During his tenure, he made significant contributions to the development of a recently ABET-accredited Information Technology program.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Sciences at Ho Chi Minh City National University in Vietnam and a Master of Engineering in Information and Communication Engineering from Sejong University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Traveling to New Zealand, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington in 2023. His research focuses on greedy algorithms, swarm intelligence, combinatorial optimization, and artificial intelligence.
