Heather has been involved in the Fashion Industry since she and her husband bought a fashion production company in 1980. They managed the successful business together for 23 years before Heather joined Fashion Tech as a garment technology tutor in 2005.

Heather completed a Certificate in Tertiary Teaching in 2007 and enjoys sharing her vast industry knowledge, skills and techniques with the students studying at the Manukau campus, watching their dreams become a reality.
