School of Creative Arts Therapies
Bettina works as a lecturer in the MACAT and course co-ordinator for the PgDip in Christchurch for Whitecliffe College.
She also works in private practice from a studio in Lyttelton, working with children and adults, and runs arts therapy workshops for a variety of health/mental health organisations.
Bettina came to arts therapy after working as an educator, teacher, community facilitator and community event organiser for a variety of NGOs in Canterbury.
Before this she trained and worked as a gardener for many years, often in community settings. Her experience of the healing effect of nature on herself and others has influenced her practice as an arts therapist.
