Becky Stokes Lecturer, School of Design Innovation

Becky’s experience ranges in the fields of digital media, marketing, and videography. She holds a Bachelor of Communication degree with a Digital Media major and Advertising minor from Auckland University of Technology, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Communication Studies.

After completing her studies, Becky worked as a marketing manager before moving to London to work as a content coordinator. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing digital creation for the company's London, USA, and Singapore offices.

In 2019, Becky returned to New Zealand and started her own videography business while also lecturing at Auckland University of Technology and later Yoobee Colleges. Her passion for teaching and helping students develop their skills led her to join the Design Innovations team at Whitecliffe in 2022. In her current role, Becky takes great joy in guiding and supporting students as they explore the worlds of moving image and design thinking.
