The programme is a thorough and comprehensive degree-level course designed for those who are looking to pursue a professional career in Jewellery.
Students will be equipped with skills focusing on entrepreneurship, resource, and material management.
This programme builds a supportive community for the student as they gain workshop experience in mastering technical hand skills and understanding design principles, developing a fluency in digital design and an understanding of business operations. It will develop students into professionals who are able to manage all phases of design from initial inspiration, analysis, development, and finishing of the final product.
This programme is designed to deliver an adaptive curriculum to develop creative stimulus, innovation, and originality producing a jewellery professional who is able to identify specific niches within the jewellery sector and is qualified with the specialist knowledge and skills required to enter the work force as a practising jeweller.

Three subjects – at Level 3 or above, made up of 14 credits each, in three subjects (Specific subjects, or range of subjects from the approved list may be specified here)
Literacy – 10 credits at Level 2 or above, made up of 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing
Numeracy – 10 credits at Level 1 or above, made up of Achievement standards – specified achievement standards available through a range of subjects
OR
Have appropriate work experience in the wider Jewellery industry (Interview required).
